Program overview

The organizational communication minor focuses on how communication strategies can enhance organizational functioning and interpersonal relationships within corporate, non-profit, and other institutional contexts. Students will learn to navigate internal and external communication challenges, preparing them for roles in management, human resources, and public relations.

Minor requirements

The 12-credit minor examines communication within professional and organizational environments. Students will explore effective leadership communication, strategies for managing crises, and techniques for fostering collaboration in workplace settings. The program may also cover organizational culture, change management, and the role of communication in shaping workplace relationships and institutional effectiveness.
