Visiting Students

Your RIDER KEY account allows you to access multiple services provided to the Rider community, including Canvas, myRider, Library Databases, Rider email, and more. You should have received your username and default login when you were accepted to Rider. To get started, you must first claim your RIDER KEY by entering your Bronc ID, last name, and date of birth. You will then be prompted to set up your password and security questions.

Official University communications will be sent to your Rider University email address. You are expected to check your email frequently and use your Rider email account for participation in online courses.

You can access Rider's email system (and learn how to forward your Rider email messages to an external account) by logging in to your Rider Gmail account.  

Wireless access is available in all academic and administrative buildings on campus. The name of our wireless network is “NoWires.”

The myRider Web Portal is a personalized hub that allows Rider students quick access to available campus web services and resources. The portal is a means to access course selection, unofficial transcripts, financial aid awards, and billing information.

All students taking courses on campus are required to carry a University identification card. You can submit your photo online or have it taken at the Public Safety office. Please visit the University ID Card webpage for more information. 

Rider's online courses are offered through Canvas, a learning management system. For more information, or to access tutorials about using Canvas, please visit the Canvas webpage. Students who experience problems logging in should contact the OIT HelpDesk at 609-219-3000. For other Canvas-related issues, contact Canvas support by clicking the "?" icon on the left-hand side of the navigation pane in Canvas, where you can chat or call for help.
