Dear Rider community,
Welcome to the official start of the 2024-25 academic year! I hope you all had a restful summer and are ready for the flurry of activity that comes with a new school year.
All too often we look at a new year as a marathon — filled with challenges and obstacles to overcome before hitting the finish line of another summer — but I like to think of it as a long walk, where you can slow down and explore different routes.
Don’t let the year fly by in a rush. Take time to savor each step and ask yourself: What goals do you hope to accomplish? How would you like to grow personally, academically and professionally? Now is the time to explore your interests through new classes, internships, organizations and projects. You may be surprised where a new or unexpected path can lead you.
Students, we are thrilled to have you back on campus. Your energy and excitement inspire us all. Thank you for allowing Rider to play a role in your growth and success. You make us all proud to be Broncs.
Faculty and staff, your thoughtful guidance and unwavering support for our students is incredibly appreciated and valued. Year after year, you influence hundreds of Broncs by helping them along their path to success. Thank you for being listening ears, inspiring mentors and constant cheerleaders.
There are still plenty of Welcome Week activities to celebrate our Broncs’ return and much to look forward to this year. Make sure to check rider.edu/events to see all the latest.
Wishing you all a great year and Go Broncs!
Sincerely,
Gregory G. Dell’Omo, Ph.D.
